How Yona built its own creative platform, then put Upspring underneath it.

I didn't want to pay for another SaaS, and I didn't want to build the collection and processing myself. Upspring is the data layer underneath my stack, so I could build the part that's actually mine.

The customer

A furniture brand that builds its own tools.

Yona makes cardboard furniture, selling across Australia and the US, and ships around a hundred new creatives a month. It's run by Gilad, who reached a conclusion a lot of founders are reaching lately: the creative-analytics SaaS on the market was expensive, and none of it spoke his team's language. So he decided to build his own.

The challenge

The team's thinking lived in documents nobody could reach.

For months, Yona's creative strategists had been writing things down, who their buyers are, what those buyers believe, why a given ad deserves to exist at all. All of it sat in ClickUp, and none of it was reachable when it mattered. The creative process ran on the memory of whoever happened to be in the room.

What he built

He shipped a creative platform in ten hours.

Gilad vibe coded the whole thing in an afternoon. The system is that scattered memory, made visible: every document's conclusion tracked in one place, on a table or a map. Then the rest of the work got pulled in behind it, the briefs, the reviews, the ads themselves, every status named after something his team already says out loud.

The memory, made visible

Every strategist's conclusion on one table or map, instead of buried in ClickUp.

Built in his team's language

Every brief, review, and status named after what the team already says out loud.

Ten hours, no SaaS

A full creative-analytics platform, built himself, serving only his own team.

Why Upspring

Upspring is the data layer underneath it.

A tool that only sees your own creative can only ever tell you about yourself. So Gilad put Upspring's API underneath his stack, feeding his own results against what's actually winning across his category. He didn't want to build collection and creative processing himself, and that is exactly the part Upspring already does.

What it unlocks

The map starts filling itself in.

With the market flowing in, the system stops waiting to be told. It recommends new personas and new angles to go after before anyone on the team has thought of them. Next, Gilad wants an AI review button on every brief, so the first read happens before the brief ever reaches him.

The best part is that none of this required a team. One founder, an afternoon, and a data layer he did not have to build. If you have vibe coded your own creative stack, this is the moment to put a real market underneath it.

Build on the same data layer.
